We begin our monthly E-Zine Spotlights with The Kovacs Files. When the editor, C.M Kovacs, was asked a few questions about his new online publication, this was what he had to say: Bonnie: Tell me a little about your e-zine "The Kovacs Files." What can speculative fiction readers expect when they browse your site? C.M. Kovacs: The Kovacs Files will attempt to evolve into not only an extreme possibilities fiction site, but also bringing readers fiction articles, news, media reviews and anything else that might conceivably fit into the genre. Bonnie: What made you interested in creating "The Kovacs Files" as an e-zine? C.M. Kovacs: I have been a print journalist for many years; decided I would try my hand at the electronic frontier. Bonnie: What can we expect in the future at "The Kovacs Files"? C.M. Kovacs: More excellent, thought-provoking fiction, more true stories of the bizarre from the ends of the earth.A Taste of American Highway -- By Scott C. No extreme profanity or graphic, pointless sex -- I'm an old man with a heart condition. No fan fiction. Prefer fresh, previously unpublished fiction. Sim subs okay, but must be proprietary to TKF for one year, if accepted. And please, let us know if the work has been previously published and if it is a sim sub. Fiction will be archived. NONFICTION: Articles, and movie, book, television reviews in the bizarre/horror/ speculative fiction arena. Concise, well written, to the point. No rambling diatribes, please.
