DOWSE Guide to the
Movies
A double helping of all things sci-fi. Using the same kind of format as an old fifties
b-movie poster, the cover automatically entices the listener. To be honest, this album
won't appeal to many as it contains music from what is regarded as a cult genre.
Anyways up, here's a snatch of what's on: Terminator, The X-Files, Star
Wars (obviously), The Twilight Zone, The Outer Limits, The Day
The World Stood Still, Rollerball, 2001..., Logan's Run,
UFO, Space 1999, Captain Scarlet... and Doctor Who as well
as Apollo 440's Lost In Space and Extreme's little ditty featuring our very own
Gillian Anderson. And talking of Andersons, there's the Thunderbirds, as well
as Twin Peaks theme, Westworld and Silent Running. A veritable
feast of good music. What makes this particular collection stand out is the fact that
it's all original music. That should make you over the moon! review by Dave W. Hughes
