- a small seaside town in cyberspace, replete with crooked
alleyways, twinkling lights, haunts of questionable character,
and cats
Storyvillian,
Storyvillain, Storyvillean - a member of Storyville
Storyvillish
(adj.) - anything bizarre, multi-faceted, off-the-wall, or
otherwise typical of Storyville
Squid
- symbolic creature, representative of the spirit of Storyville
Luminous
Squid - same as above, but luminous
John
O'Coat - the Storyville mascot, currently in the keeping
of Prof. Eric G. Schaller of the University of New Hampshire,
U.S.A.
Bakelite
- the opposite of squid ; also, subject matter of a scatological
or erotic nature
Bakelite
prawn - a conceptual paradox, representative of the teasing
nature of Storyville discourse
Calamari
- a form of cannibalism ; standard or recommended fare at
Storyville gatherings

Prize - an occasional prize, awarded to any Storyvillian
especially gifted in the dissemination of squid (ie. the ability
to introduce squid into any context)

Titles Prize - another occasional prize, awarded to Storyvillians
gifted in the creation of Titles for Literary Works

- an intoxicating liquor, sometimes partaken of by Storyvillians
