March 2004 update: In recent times the vast task of updating and developing Dowse by hand has become beyond the time constraints of those volunteers involved, this including and especially applying to the Dowse originator. Therefore the decision was made to leave the monolith of Dowse to weather the effects of time unaided, this to come into effect immediately after a move to a new server and web host, now completed.
